Even though they've all but disappeared from today's roads, I've alway had a soft spot for cabovers and the Transtar II is one of my favorites. I remember building several of them as a kid back in the 70's. I know they reissued the kit several years ago but it would be nice to see them again. I built a day cab from one that I bought that had been reshrink wrapped at a KMart years ago that I discovered had been started and cab painted and damaged from too much glue!
