S. Svendsen
Here's a little fictional short track style 1970 Dodge Dart I recently finished. I didn't built it from the old AMT Petty Dart kit though. I built mine using a body from the MPC LA Dart wheelstander mixed with an MPC '70's stock car chassis. Lots of resin and aftermarket parts added to this one. You can read all about in and see more photos on my site at the link. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/71_dart_short_track_page.html Edited April 19, 2013 by S. Dragline
Great car Sean. As slick as always. And I wouldn't personally worry about using a vintage Petty kit since.....Wait for it! BAM! It's back in August http://round2models.com/models/amt/richard-petty-dart Bob Edited April 19, 2013 by Dragline
JasonC
Nice outcome! But a 71 Dart has 4 lights in the rear bumper, not
Ace-Garageguy
Very very nice, very believable, very clean. This is a kind of racing I know absolutely nothing about, but this build has got me interested to learn. Love the look of the car, and the outdoor, trailer shot is spectacular. S. Svendsen
Nice outcome! But a 71 Dart has 4 lights in the rear bumper, not 2 You are right. I looked at photos of the grill to identify what year the car was but didn't look at the rear bumper. I guess that makes this a '70 Dart. outragis
Nice outcome! But a 71 Dart has 4 lights in the rear bumper, not 2 this was a replacement bumper when the old one got "rubbed" off!
