LongRoofNut
So I was at a swap meet a few weeks ago looking for tail lamps for a '75 Cutlass. Found a nice clean built up (no glue used) for the road hugging price of $3.00. I did not have the heart to just use it for the lights, so I gave it some new life and was a test for using spray can automotive Dupli Color paint. So far I like the results. It's just a quick build. Automotive primer, four coats of Ford Hunter Green from Dupli Color and four coats of clear from Testors lacqure system. Then wet sanded and polished. I added a few bits here in there inside. Now I still have to find lamps for the kit I had already been looking for!
jeffs396
Welcome to MCM Jonny! You stole that Olds, and did a great job painting it! We could use a few more pics of the finished build though
