He put on a good show here back in the early '70s at Ball State University. I always liked his music.

Ravi Shankar also died, just the other day... another '60s music icon. He had a huge influence on the Beatles, mostly on George.

Yes, there is just no substitute for taste.

Wonder how many, if any, of the so called "artists" of the last 25 years will even be remembered 45 years after their biggest gig.

Bootsy and the Goldfish, Missing Pumpkins, Nirvana scunge music, Madonna, what a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't really familiar w/ his earlier work until I heard him on the track 'Hands of Time' w/ Groove Armada on the 'Collateral' soundtrack back in '05...great voice.

Chrissy Amphlett of the Divinyls passed away as well yesterday. She had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2007 and revealed that she had breast cancer in 2010.

Richie is the only artist that could do Beatle covers that did not tick me off , oh and Joe Cocker , to all other artists , leave my Beatles alone ! PS I give The Stones a pass on doing Beatle covers , well they can do anything they want , I'll buy it
