my80malibu
Is there a guide here showing where to make the cuts to reduce a long bed pickup to a Shortbed version on the AMT 72 PU? My L.B. is a scale 8ft bed the S.B. is usually 6ft. I need to eliminate about 15/16" overall from the center to make it work.
ScaleDale
Kinda. Stacy David did it 1:1 on his Gearz TV show. Here's a link to the web page and videos of the build. At least you will know where to cut. http://staceydavid.com/episodes/lmc-truck-shortbed-conversion Dale
Guest
Steve Milberry has a WIP of a '68 with the '72 bed that he shortened down to a short bed. Also, I think the short bed is only eighteen inches shorter than a long bed, not two feet. Here's a link to Steve's WIP: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65367&hl=
