I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread, it put a smile on my face. I remember the adds in automotive magazines in the 80's and early 90's. There was one with a head-on shot with a dark car and the interior glowing yellow/orange. I personally like the swirly wheels like the red W8 car in that video has. When I think Vector, those are the wheels that come to my mind. If you made a set of those and do decide to sell copies of the car, I would buy one. The pre-assembly check looks good, and some other refinements being added, including the oddly shaped interior panels the W2 employed The Vector W2 was undoubtedly inspired in parts by the Countach of that same time period, most notably the scissor style doors Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rear bumper constructed and completed, Fuel post added to body, Photo comparison of the 1/24 Vector body beside it's 1980's contemporary the Countach, and all the different wheels being readied for the Vector! Been off due to hand injury, but starting to resume some further work on my projects now This first casting of Vector wheels, I gave shot of gloss black paint to see detailing on inspection ....mastered off of 3D printed sets, they came out not to bad, and I'm quite pleased! With rear W2 bumper complete, chassis rear section completed, and frame rails made to align snug against bumper part Front inner wheel wells needed more space for turning wheels / tires clearance, so before closing up center tunnel portion, front portion of wheel wells expanded forward to back edge of air dam spoiler skirt W2 rear wind built, from styrene stock Test fitment with W2 rear wing in position & stance Nearly there!!
