Dyno Davo
Built this for our upcoming club display that is a 8.7metre long Bonneville theme diorama which all the members will contribute models and figures for. The hauler is the resin Scale Productions Dual Cab VW Pickup stetched using the Revell T1 Samba Bus. Paint is my own mix of pale yellow with matt white trim and a white flake roof. It's basically a curbside with dress up parts from the Revell kit. The Karmann Ghia is the Tamiya kit fitted with a bombed out flat six Covair motor from the Revell Parts Pak series, I added a scratch built inlet manifold, custom exhaust and milled pulley. The motor is wired. Interior has a scratch built roll cage, Nascar seat and NOS bottle, the Salt Shaker decals are home made and the wheel discs have been machined from aluminium discs. geordie
Very nice builds, hower in a diorama setting I fell that they would benefit from a little salt spray weathering. Edited June 4, 2013 by geordie

W-409
Nice combo Dave! Nice builds, both of them and great idea of using another Volkswagen as the Car Hauler. Especially I like the Karmann Ghia, I've always thought that it is very nice car and great body style, you did great job on the build also.
