gonzo64nova
I recently found this Monogram Cop-out kit at a swap meet for $10. I have always liked the look of the 70s nitro cars so I decided that I would try to create my own version of a car from that era. Enjoy the pictures and if you have any questions about how I did anything just ask. -Bill Edited June 12, 2013 by gonzo64nova

W-409
Cool Build from that Duster kit! Lots of nice details, but my favorite is that you added those bits of burnt rubber inside the body panels. Nice work!

gonzo64nova
Thanks for the compliments guys it keeps me striving to build better cars with more detail. W409- I didnt think anyone would even notice that little addition, much less know what it was. You've got a sharp eye! -Bill

gonzo64nova
Bill Nice build. Good detail. Can you tell me about the front suspension springs? Thanks for posting. Thanks for the compliments...They are the kit springs , I moved the front axle up to lower the car so the upper mounts had to be scratch built.. I usually paint them if they are not chromed ,if they are chrome I use a colored Sharpie to color them. In either case I use a black wash afterward to bring out the detail. Hope this helps some. - Bill Edited June 19, 2013 by gonzo64nova
