spotarama Posted July 23, 2013 (edited) (with thanks to Souther Culture On The Skids for the title) i decided to have a go at making my own bodywork for a dirt track circuit racer, to be honest i don't even know if this car would actually have any real class to race in but what the heck i used aluminium anti-perspirant cans which are tick enuf metal to hold its shape but soft enuf to be easily workable, i'd used them to make hoods for a couple of other cars but went all out on this one. the hood and nose cone are removable, the hood is held on by 2 pins on top of the radiator, the nose cone clips over the front lip of the hood and the front of the frame hope you all like them and please let me know what you think Edited July 23, 2013 by spotarama

Harry P. Posted July 25, 2013 It looks pretty good... your scratchbuilt bodywork is very nice. But you need to sand down the tread surface of the tires... they're too shiny.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 25, 2013 I know nothing...zero, zip,nada...about these cars, but I really love the all business, no-BS appearance. Nice work.
DrewCfromSC Posted July 30, 2013 now that's real modeling in my opinion. If you cant find it......................make it! Drew
lazlow Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) Man I would not want to see that one coming up behind me on a track. looks like he could just drive right under you to pass. Cool build, I like the original use of the tin. gives a real feel. Edited July 30, 2013 by lazlow
