Deleting threads

Ahhic i finally found a few parts cars for parts i needed for a couple cars on the ole ebay and i was gonna delete my threads ( sad thing is the cars or anywhere from 75-90 complete and all i need from them is 2 or three parts ) o well thats how the cookie crumples

too bad (for me). i am embarassed that i participated in what i thought was a jocular thread recently. it turned into a real pigpile and finally someone had the good sense to lock it.

all i was able to do was remove my (unquoted) comments.

guess that's how it goes sometimes ......

I'd like to delete some of my posts, the ones I have had answered and are no longer relevant, how do I do that.

Shouldn't we have a FAQ topic for just these types of questions?

1. PM Casey or Harry with links to the threads you started that you want deleted.

OR

2. If you started the threads, you can lock them. You can't delete them yourself.

Lock it and it will eventually go down the pages. Click on your topic, scroll to the bottom of the page, click on topic moderation, lock and you're done. We used to be able to delete our own topics until the forum change.
