chevyfever2009
So how do we delete threads we no longer need
Jantrix
You can still close (lock) the thread. That usually lets folks know you are no longer in need of parts. Edited August 7, 2013 by Jantrix

southpier
too bad (for me). i am embarassed that i participated in what i thought was a jocular thread recently. it turned into a real pigpile and finally someone had the good sense to lock it. all i was able to do was remove my (unquoted) comments. guess that's how it goes sometimes ...... raildogg
I'd like to delete some of my posts, the ones I have had answered and are no longer relevant, how do I do that. Shouldn't we have a FAQ topic for just these types of questions?

sjordan2
In any case, somewhere along the way you will find a Topic Moderation button at bottom left. Click on that and you can lock the thread.
Guest
Lock it and it will eventually go down the pages. Click on your topic, scroll to the bottom of the page, click on topic moderation, lock and you're done. We used to be able to delete our own topics until the forum change.
