I kinda like my cars to actually accelerate, stop, and handle WELL...which none of these are capable of. These cars may not win any speed records ,but i'd love to see them race . seriously think about a donk hillclimb or even something like a rally scenario. misterNNL Posted January 3, 2014 Share Posted January 3, 2014 I believe that the steel company that did the stainless cars used them as a sales tool to advertise the duribility of the product.their top salesmen drove the cars on sales calls,some putting hundreds of thousands of miles on them.A couple of the 36 Fords were eventually canibilized for parts to repair others that had been damaged.
