Unatural
I've been looking for quite a while now trying to find some '03-'04 Cobra wheels to use on my Fox body build, but haven't had any luck. Here's a picture of my car. I would love to replicate it as is. Is there anyone out there making them out of resin?
mikemopar70
You may be luckier to look at the die-cast market!I don't know if it's been made in 1/24-1/25th scale, but it does in 1/18 so i think there is a possibility!A friend of mine who owns a 2004 Cobra, made a replica of his own car and used these wheels on the 1/18 die-cast..I don't remember the manufacturer, you may google your search..Good luck with your project, and by the way, your Mustang is cool, and very clean!! Unatural
Thanks. I've looked for diecast as well, but haven't had any luck in anything other than 1:18 scale. I'm VERY surprised that none of the companies have made that car yet.
kelson
Those rims look alot like the ones in Revell's 03'ford focus svt modelkit. Edited September 20, 2013 by kelson
Abell82
Maybe the wheels from the 2006 Dodge Magnum could be made to work? They are a bit "chunky" and they are large, maybe too large? Maybe you could use the wheels from the Revell 99 Cobra?
Unatural
I may see if I can get the magnum wheels and modify them. Then paint them with Alclad to give them the polished look. The Cobra wheels are just too different for me. Thanks for the suggestions though.
Maindrian Pace
Perhaps a 3D printing company can help. -MJS
Unatural
Any idea how much that would cost?
Chief Joseph
Cost for an original 3D model and printing? Probably less than you think but more than you want it to.
