ismaelg
Hello, This is the Best of Show winner in the 5th Caribbean Scale Auto Expo built by Rey Franco. Local hospital was receiving a lot of people with dislocated jaws and drool had to be wiped from the table all day...... Rey started with a Fujimi Enthusiast kit and added scratchbuilt items, Model Factory Hiro wheels, and other white metal and photoetch parts. It took about 2 years to complete. BRAVO Rey!!!!! Pics courtesy of Rogelio Mendez (Maverick351) and Roberto Fanfan (Mad Slammer) Thanks,

Joe R.
That is a thing of beauty. Look at that red paint! And there is no distortion on the glass. It seriously looks real even with the background. My fellow member Alex is a Ferrari nut and his jaw will drop with this model.
dub
The bar has been raised.... I've seen quite a few pics of these now, and I have to say they are all nice but this one really takes the cake! I'm happy the only one of these I plan to build is the fake Miami Vice version. There's no way I'll ever get that level of detail on mine! I wouldn't mind seeing that one in print in my favorite magazine.(hint hint )

Luis Ayala
Congratulations to Ray, as he is one of the best modelers of the Island. He is always there to help when you need advice and he has done a lot of "how to" seminars on our monthly meetings at "The Plastic Model Store" at Bayamon PR.This was really the most deserved prize of the day. He brough only one model to the show and he won 1st place Euro Class and Best of show.

robertw
Mere words can't do this build justice. I bow before a master artist. In plastic he has clearly proven why the Daytona is considered one of the most beautiful Ferraris. robw
