Porsche GT2 club racer

Jordan 191

I am building the 1/24 scale Tamiya Porsche GT2 racecar. I am building it out of the box. The only difference is that I am not using the kit decals or replicating the Sogo Keibi racecar. Instead I am building it as a club racer “later in life” if it was being campaigned by a rich cardiologist at PCA events. I’m going to use decals from others kits for that, including a red “turbo” script for each door. The paint is Testors light blue with Testors MM Italian red accents. It ended up being much more “Richard Petty” than I planned, but I’m going to resist using STP decals.

Thank you for the encouragement everyone. I am concerned that the colors will "vibrate" once assembled (maybe I need to use extra glue! - model building joke). In my mind I was going for the colors of Petteroes cigarettes, but the blue ended up lighter and the red is much more orange. But you see lots of odd color combinations in club racing, so I'm okay with it. I need to look up the PCA class designations for a 993 GT2, I plan to add those below the number plates.
