Can the 454 in amts 72 chevelle ss kit be turned into a 396 ci . I'm building a 4 door 72 chevelle iin the work bench and its a replica of my dads car . The last motor befor he wrecked it was a 396 out of a junkyard corvette . If there is any differences what kit would have the 396 ci in it.

Yup, they look exactly alike. You might want to check the locations of the accessories (AC, PS, alternator) for your specific application though.
