'66-'77 Early Ford Bronco Resin Kit

Recommended Posts

Well, they are finally here!

After 12+ years, the old Cheez-Cast '66-'77 Ford Bronco resin kits are available once again!

The first five kits will be sold on eBay, as auction-types of items.

The rest of the First Editions (of 50), will be selling for $50, plus $5 shipping/handling.

The web site http://www.ResinBronco.com should have all the ordering information on it very soon.

They will be drop shipped straight from the resin manufacturer, so the there should be a short turn around time (we are hoping for a one-two week time frame at the most).

Thanks so much for all of your interest, patience, and support with this endeavor.

This is a curbside kit, no motor, and at this time, no rims or tires.

A good donor kit is the Revell/Monogram '80 Ford Bronco kit, for the rims and tires.

I have started modifying the prototype, changing around the dash, and some of the interior.

Nice work Gregg! I have one of the old original Cheesecast Broncos but definitely want a pickup version! My high school had a dark green pickup that they used to plow snow from their lot. The coaches also used it to make teams do a forced run. There's a photo in my yearbook of the coach sitting in the back bed watching the runners behind him. I need to duplicate that pickup!

Let us know if anyone hits that Buy It Now Button!

OKAY. Great that this is being made available again, HOWEVER why are you going to Ebay when you have E-modelcars? Seriously Gregg, It is disingenuous of you to advocate us using it and you don't ? :(

Mike, after all the work, time, money, effort, etc. that I put into EMC, no one wants to use it, I give up on it. Probably will let it just lapse and forget about it. I tried my best to make it work, and no one, besides a very few, (thanks to those who did help, I think you were one of them, Mike), but I have to move on.

Thanks Gregg, I am in for one now and another when you have them in 1/24 as well. I remember seeing these at a couple of shows in Wisconsin way back when and meant to get one then but didn't and thanks to you, I can!

I will have to check the website daily to make sure I am one of the 50!

So who's the super-secret mystery resin caster?

If you go to one of the uninhabited Hawaiian islands only accessible by a small light boat, then wade to shore and work your way through the sugar cane fields, you will come upon a small bamboo hut where they make the kits!
