Mr. Gasser

Mr. Gasser, the big-eyed, wild-haired, gape-mouthed hot-rodder happily shiftin’ and steerin’ his ’57 Chevy, went directly from the back of a t-shirt to a model kit, becoming an instant hit.

He and the rest of the monster gang soon became heroes to young kids across the nation who could relate to the stories and themes of the gang.

The general message intended was that being different or weird was o.k. and being a Fink or a Weirdo was cool, too.

This is my version, hope, you like it.

Tank you, Bob! B)

Partly you're right, yes, but also, unfortunately, the pictures are too bright and do not show the actual colors...

Thank you! B)

I've looked everywhere, for a replacement for the plastic hair in the kits...

Unfortunately, long time without success, until my wife wanted to throw away, this one:

My wife bought a winter jacket, and this is the detachable hood, which she did not want to wear anyway...

I took it immediately to me, cut off a piece and fit it to Mr. Gasser`s head...

Sometimes it's that easy! ;)

Well, you did a great job with his hair. Looks a thousand times better than the kit's plastic hair.
