wkennerley
Well I might be a big Rolls-Royce fan and I would be very pissed if someone did this to the original of this car but it does look quite nice - I look forward to seeing it progress, wayne

Harry P.
I like it already! I agree with Wayne... doing that to a real one would be grounds for execution, but in the scale model world, anything goes! Very cool!

Shardik
Darn, I'm too slow. I picked up two RR glue bombs with just such a project in mind. But given your level of talent, I think I'll enjoy watching this come together anyway. Besides, you can never have too many rat rods, right. wkennerley
Why not cut up a real one? Its only steel... Looks good Actually its wood and aluminium, but would you be happy if someone cut up a one off / rare Muscle Car? Probably not. MachinistMark
Couldn't care less what someone does with their car, since it is, after all their. car. Rod saboury used a real 63 split window to turn into a pro street car. I love that anything to annoy the purists. crazyrichard
haha way cool , you know the other box from italeri ? the bugatti ? i made a rat of that one one problem and i think the merc might have the same they are big cars at least the bugatti was hudge irl , trhe merc is also a fairly big car , so when using such a kit to build a rod they tend to end up being a larger scale then 1/24 at least thats what i ended up with .. my guess is mine was about 1/16 as a hotrod in the end and i could use 1/18 scale tyres but man this looks great already and i'm a bog fan of builds like this i used this one > i ended up with this love your dually's in the back and also the front wheels . curious on the rest !!
