'55, '56, '57 Chevy "El Caminos"

Recommended Posts

Started on the '56 years ago, before it was finished I decided it needed a '56 and a '57 to go with it. Finally got all 3 done, some wip photos here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55164&p=643252

The '56 and '57 have a much more finished inner bed.The '57 was by far the most involved, a lot of bodywork to get it where I was satisfied.

Thanks for compliments, all the great work I see on this forum really inspires me to improve my models !!

All are painted with automotive basecoat and clear, sanded and polished. I owned a collision repair shop for over 20 years, sold it to an employee last year and he still lets me raid the paint shelf for leftovers or mix up some if I can't find what I need, like the yellow '56
