crazyjim
I got a free Elvis Presley Meyers Manx. had a set of paddle tires and a corvair engine, so I put them together in this little puppy. Don't deceived by the license plates! This puppy was built to play in the sand. The interior was kept to a minimum so it would be easy to blow out the sand. The custom side pods were mastered by Don Garrett and are available only through Crazy Scale Auto Parts. I used HOK light teal pearl for paint. PatW
Hey Jim. I like the side pods and your bomber seats, I fitted yours to my recent Manx build. Yours looks great Jim. I've just been reading an article in Volksworld Magazine here in the UK, showing both a short wheelbase and standard one. Keep up the good work with your superb resin supplies. I think if I had a real one down on the beach I would drill a fews holes in the floorpan and just use a hose to wash out all the sand and rubbish! crazyjim
Thanks so much folks. This was a fun build. The front wheels are out of the parts box but I think they may have come from the double dragster kits from 40 years ago.

realgone58
Jim, you may have convinced me to built another one of these things! I love it! Great color, tires look cool, side pods are beautiful, and your bomber seats look perfect in there.
