Iron Moths:

Native to the U.P.

Eat sheet Metal.

Most active in Spring, but will eat year round.

(U.P.- Upper Peninnsula of Michigan)

They must com from near Iron Mountain, MI up in the U.P.

Around here, we have tin worms. They not only eat sheet metal, but they would do a pretty good job on wood too back in the day.
