Greg Cullinan Posted January 4, 2014 Author Share Posted January 4, 2014 Since realignment in 02, only 2 #1 seeds (03 Patriots & 09 Saints) have won the Super Bowl. More #1's (9) have lost their first playoff game than made it to the Super Bowl (8), so I doubt we'll see a Broncos vs Seahawks matchup, and I feel pretty strongly that neither team will make it. Personally I have a strong feeling about the Eagles making it to the Super Bowl (I would, I'm an Eagles fan) teams that have to play their way into the playoffs tend to go deeper as of late. Eagles vs Chiefs? That would be a good story line, Andy Reid being the Eagles' ex-coach and all... I agree about it's typically the teams that turn it up towards the end of the season. Watching KC beat up Indy right now,so I buy into eagles/chiefs as well. Still a long ways to go. I'm nervous Nick Foles may fall apart.
