The outside of this I want to be just about all stock parts with this kit. I didn't really want to add anything extra.

I dechromed all the chrome parts and added rust colors to them. I want the body an all to be perfect but all the chrome rusty. I guess you can say I wanted a rat rod look with this.

I finished the motor with one of detail masters distributor kits and I put the carb stacks on it

I started the interior with a leather look. Something that would have been used to restore the car now days.

And started the door panels the same way

I fished the cab and installed the seat, gas tank, and battery.

I painted the wheels red then added some driven on grease look to them to keep with the theme

Nice work so far. I try to spray as many parts as I can. Paint will be even and project move faster...

Right now I'm trying to get a airbrush set up. So I'm reading and deciding on which one will be best. But until then I just hand paint and call it a day. Lol

Great weathering. If you had put those rusted parts out in some grass and took pictures. They would have looked like 1:1s abandoned in an overgrown field.

I took my modeling to a level I never have before. I used some bondo and deleted the door handles, the wiper arm holes, and the holes in the bed for the wood slats it came with

I also stopped by the local hobby store an picked up a seatbelt set

looking good, really like how your seat came out, and the rust looks terrific.

Thanks. I really wish it looked like it had more leather feel to it. I'm been trying to do some new interior things since I started modeling again. This is just the first.
