'78 Dodge Monaco 2 door h/t

Recommended Posts

This is a factory Augusta Green metallic promo by MPC that I've had since the early '80s. Back then, I had detailed it with the famous Testors silver paint.........not to great. So last week, I dug it out, cleaned off all the silver, and foiled it. I also painted and detailed the interior, buffed it out, and changed the wheels and tires to the Royal Monaco/New Yorker deluxe wheel covers found in the late '70's Dodge van kits. They fit nicely onto a set of old US Royal Master whitewalls. Fills the wheel wells up a bit better than the factory tires.

Nice.

But . . . (in my best "Harry voice") . . . needs mirrors!

Very nicely done Alan. It's always hard for me to glue mirrors on promo's. BMF and wash are reversible, IMO!!!
