Harry P.
Ok, put on your thinking caps. The answer: MODEL! 1/8 scale hand-made scratch-built model...no kit used! Edited December 14, 2007 by harrypri
Olle F
Some of the knobs don't "look right", and I don't know about the driveshaft hump. It doesn't look like leather grain, and it's definitely not carpet. Those plates on the grab handles look a bit thick as well. I'd say model. Bill Riblett
Overall, the dash looks kind of "flat", for instance the rings around the instruments. Also, the interior surface finishes don't look as varied as one would expect on a real car. Still, a very nice model.

Modelmartin
###### nice model! I think.
Randy Kern
I would say model. My only clue is the screws holding the grab handle should be on the outside. At least every shot of a 300 SL I've seen has them oriented like that. Harry, can you fold the wheel down?
kelson
i'm gonna say 100% real
gbdolfans
OK Harry, I think I have got you this time. I voted real because of the creases in the driver seat. I am probably wrong but I am sticking to it.

ABC Auto Industry
It's pretty hard to squeeze a camera in to get an interior shot, but the gauges look pretty flat to me, so it's a toss-up.

ABC Auto Industry
OK, if it's such a large scale, then I think you could get a camera in like that. I knew it had to be a model.
