To make sure I'm understanding correctly, was your car sold new in New Zealand? In hindsight, I should have went something closer to a Replica Stock build. When I was building this one, I was experimenting with paint finishes. The paint is a custom mixed Orange Lacquer, with blue pearl flip-flop powder in the clear. I massaged the body quite a bit to get everything to fit. This is one of my favorite models. Just keep it out of the heat and take your time. Looking at your one-to-one, a good friend of mine's father had one like yours, which I like a lot. I have another wagon on the horizon. It's going to ba some sort of mid '60's GM product, and I am not telling what it's going to be. It's been planned out, and I have the goods to do it. I just have to make the time, and do it.
