Interesting. Very different. It has multiple things in its favor. It's a wagon and it's a different one at that.

To make sure I'm understanding correctly, was your car sold new in New Zealand?

Charlie Larkin

Yes Charlie sold new in july 65,It was Canadian assembled,It was also the Canadian embassy car in Wellington untill 67.

In hindsight, I should have went something closer to a Replica Stock build. When I was building this one, I was experimenting with paint finishes. The paint is a custom mixed Orange Lacquer, with blue pearl flip-flop powder in the clear. I massaged the body quite a bit to get everything to fit. This is one of my favorite models.

Dang Ron, that is mouth watering. Really like how that color turned out. Would look great on a early to mid '70s full sizer.

Thank You for the comments, Stan. Just keep it out of the heat and take your time. Looking at your one-to-one, a good friend of mine's father had one like yours, which I like a lot. I have another wagon on the horizon. It's going to ba some sort of mid '60's GM product, and I am not telling what it's going to be. It's been planned out, and I have the goods to do it. I just have to make the time, and do it.
