freakshow12
So here are a few more. Hood is done except for final wash and clean. Just have to add the twist locks. Here is a quick mock up as well. I made a trunk mat. 1970 was either plaid or this spatter pattern. I chose to replicate the latter. Looks just like the 1:1 : ). vamach1
Awesome - won;t be able to tell if apart from one of those high dollar Franklin mint cars.
freakshow12
Made a headliner. Added styrene in between the molded glass supports then used tape for the pieces in style if 1:1. Added the sail panel lights and some visors. A little trim work around edges and it's ready for polish and install. Foil done Drilled out and foiled factory door handles. Still have to detail locks. Getting very close to putting it all together.

freakshow12
I wanted to make the door sill plates so I gave it a try. Photos show progress. Foiled and an aluminum wash to dull them a little and a ford decal from the parts box. Pretty happy with them
freakshow12
Headliner/ glass combo in for last time Drivers door detail. I made the catch and found a decal that resembles the data plate quick mockup. Doors in place for final time and glued the hinges. Have a couple tiny issues to resolve but it's getting closerengine is installed to chassis. It all fits. Rest of assembly on it will take place after body/interior/chassis are finally bonded together tmo. Has to be done by Friday morning. Thanks for looking
