1978 Macho Trans Am

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I no i'm going out on a long shot but I was wondering if anly company or anyone makes after market Pontiac Trans Am decals? I'm looking to build a Macho T/a which was a specail order car kind of like the GM COPO and YENKO. They only made 203 that year so I no its probally not possible if anyone makes decals for them. Any feedback or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I first thought the Macho labelling was a bit self-conscious - imagine Clint Eastwood wearing a 'Macho' t-shirt - kinda goes without saying...

but then I googled it and I understand a bit more - these things were designed to put some of the grunt back that the emissions laws had sapped, with turbochargers etc. I'd probably still delete the stickers and settle for the stuff under the hood though!

Good luck with the project, Brandon.

I know a guy in Oklahoma who makes reproduction and custom graphics. Specializing in Trans Ams & Camaros.

That's a fairly obscure TA, so they might be able to make the graphics. You can contact them directly:

D'oh! I just saw that this was a moved topic. I found it in General, so thought you might be working on a real automobile.....
