martinfan5 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Share Posted May 1, 2014 If you cut the tape around the trim with your Xacto blade, that's probably why the paint peeled off. That's the only time I ever have a problem with paint pulling up with tape is when I have cut on the tape. That is the problem, but I have never really had that happen before, I think my mistake is not scuffing the body before primer, I have repainted for the third time now , scuffed the entire body this time , so as they say, third time is the charm.
