I've only been working on this one here and there now that the weather is getting nicer. This time I tried adding some simple air lines for the brakes and suspension, and some fuel and return lines on the engine. I want to try and do a little weathering to make it look like a nicely maintained working truck.

Kevin, this is very good work. It is good that you try to make some air lines. Good idea. If I can recommend you next time try to use "fishing line" you can buy it in each thickness in Fisherman store. Than apply some filler and primer (I use Dupli color in a can, it is awesome, the primer gray colour make a great surface on each material). And than colour coat... original vents for lines you can buy at KFS.....but I like your way also. Paul.

Thanks Pavel, that is a good idea. I used metal wire for the brake lines because I had some laying around, but it was hard to work with because it's not as flexible.

Yes Kevin, that I mean it's problem of this metal wire. Not flexible.

Wow! That's some pretty severe weathering on the Cummins! Looks like a Detroit Diesel!

Thanks Pavel. I also painted the frame yesterday, now it needs some weathering as well.

It will be very interessant. Try only light weathering on the frame. Some dark wash round the nuts and bolts....and little bit oil stain (good is tamiya weathering set for this work). Yeah, nice colour.

Haven't done much more, but I decided to repainted the engine because I thought the weathering was overdone. I experimented with some baking soda to get a little texture in the rust this time.

Got her on her own ten feet today lol. Also I got a sudden urge to build a 352 a few weeks ago, so I've been doing both trucks at the same time.
