Finished detailing the fans and i scratched built another intercooler.. i modified the radiator support by removing the factory tabs and made my own mounting tabs using square tubbing .
Better i think..
Nice fit...but i had to move a turbo..
There much better fit.. now to do the lower pipping
that's looking great is that a 55 chevy or a 57 chevy in the backround
Yes its a 57 Chevy. It belonged to my friend Derrick whom you guys might know. He was building this wild blown twin turbo beast.. i had the pleasure of buying and taking over.. feeling very blessed doing so.. he did a fantadtic job on it..
I started doing the rear suspension on the touring car.. i ran out of rod links so i ordered more from RnB Motion.. i enjoyed this part of the build alot.. i also started reworking the RS grill.. so in this picture its just mocked up..
Very nicely engineered and hat's off to your solid pace through these respective projects. I scratch build little things consistent with my project focus, but clearly not to the degree and intensity that you so clearly excel at. If only we could take our creations around the block whence finished...
Thank you Mike.. its great to find people that have the same intrest as i do.. like i said on your post.. i like your attention to detail...
I fergot to mention that i made the Tremec TKO in resin.. it needs a little modification for my project but all is good.. im thinking about making another mold but without the bell housing.
Today i added the beauty ring around the grill..primered it and decided to give a mold a try to see how it comes out..
Made some better hinges for the touring car.. basicly copied from the 1:1...
To bad they will be covered and not really seen....
YEAH, I BET THEY WORK & MOVE THE DOOR MORE ACCURATE. THEY LOOK GREAT RALPH, ARE THEY PLASTIC?
How are you making these? 3d printer??
so far so good and yes these are plastic.. i scratched built them from square plastruct tubbing.. i dont have a 3D printer much less know how to use them...the only thing 3D printed on this car is the two turbos and waste gates from TDR.. everything else is scratched built by hand...
