Recommended Posts

Got this fun puppy in a trade.

( Thanks Tom aka Modlbldr )

Anyhoo....this is what I got.

Added styrene to the back tire in order to make it a slick.

Made a paper clip sissybar with backrest.

Bent some tubes to make the fenders.

Thinned out the banana seat and added a seat post mount.

This pix shows the paperclip chopper forks.

Head lite is a tach with Micro Kristal Klear.

The chopper is a companion piece for a '63 Ford Galaxie on my bench.

Thanks for looking...

That is too cool. And you make it look easy!

I had a Raleigh Chopper... actually went through two of one because my original orange one got stolen. I should look into modifying that Schwinn into this... the Chopper is all straight lines. Only challenge would be to make the seat! Hmmmm...

Thanks y'all...much appreciated.

Work and fishing have taken up all my time.

(grateful for both)

A little update on my 'lil project.

Using my trusty bottle of Ambroid Z-Mask,

I slathered it on the handlebars,

chain/guard assembly and the crank/pedals.

Clear bubbled on me ....a light sanding is in the works.

anyhoo..here are some pixs
