The Moparian
I'm working on making my own exhaust for a project and want to get some resin mufflers. The car is gonna have a 3 inch exhaust using 3mm solder. Does anyone know of any mufflers that are large enough? I don't want the pipes larger than the mufflers themselves. astroracer
Doesn't matter what you get or use. If they are too small cut the offending appendages off and drill a hole for your solder to glue into. Once they are glued wrap a piece of .010 sheet plastic around the solder to make the new slip joint. Mark
The Moparian
That's a great idea. Thanks!
freakshow12
I use quite a few of the mufflers from the 70 super bee pro street kit. One strip of styrene down the middle and they look like a blow master. Err flowmaster
MeatMan
VGC Resins has a Flowmaster type with no ends on it so you make your own. Its under the "Drivetrain" section for some odd reason. You can email him and he'll check the sizing for you.
