Very nice. Great job on the black on the front and back bumpers. That is very hard to paint correctly.

I'll give you a pass on no mirrors... :P but the taillights look a little wonky. Not your fault, I think... it's the way the model is made.

One very minor mistake though. The oval you painted blue on the back of your car should be red... That's a red XL logo...

Not exactly...

You're right Harry. I'm now thinking those tri-bar pieces were for the custom version, not stock. The only question now is how to reproduce the 4 point star?

A short length of styrene rod for the center part, styrene sheet or strip for the ribs. But it won't be easy, we're talking about very small pieces. You might just want to leave things be and call it a "custom." B)

I thought I checked that one carefully. But, rechecking your right Harry. It looks like that XL emblem was the same on '62 1/2 and '63 XLs. Sorry about that guys!
