Drago
Hi guys... I recently bought this resin body and for my surprise when I opened the box I saw a smaller body than I expected. Searching on the web I found this: According to this chart, the wheelbase in scale should have around 4" right? Well, unfortunately it hasn't... Take a look the comparison with a Revell´s Beetle... It should be a little bigger, right? Any thoughts? Edited July 1, 2014 by Drago
jeffs396
Yes, the resin HHRs are a touch underscale, but the master was a motorized toy... Better than no replica, and at least the donor PT Cruiser chassis doesn't need any modification width-wise, only shortened a bit!
blubaja
Yes. It's about 1/27 scale. And the windshield wipers are for a right had drive car. The RMR body is alot better. And not just a copy.
Drago
Thanks guys... I didn't know about RMR option... too bad for me So.. if it is 1/27 scale, WHY JF ANNOUNCE IT AS 1/25???????? http://www.jimmyflintstonestudios.com/viewitem.php?productid=624 This is not cool.... JF HHR resin body = going to trash! Resin body from RMR is way way better!!!! Edited July 1, 2014 by Drago
Steven Zimmerman
The Flintstone body and the RMR body are based on the same toy. The Flintstone body is a direct cast off the to, no windshield, or glass cut outs, no headlight cut outs. RMR cut out the headlights, grille and the openings for body glass, cast the grille, side view mirrors and scratchbuilt the headlight housings and includes a promo type frame. It's all that is available, and I spent over 2 years searching to find the toy, (Thanks, Jeff) As to the scale, it looked pretty close, so it got cast. Feel free to buy two and fix the scale, if you so desire - I, for one, am just glad it's available...........'Z'

unclescott58
This is a car I wish someone like Revell would tackle as a regular 1/25th scale styrene kit. I'm surprised no one has. Scott
