What did you see on the road today?

Recommended Posts

C-8 Corvette, white with a "Brazzers" license plate frame.  Couldn't tell if the driver was a principal or a consumer of said product. 😁 Also a Ferrari 458, likewise in white.  I've seen them in Rosso Scuderia and Grigio Silverstone Metallic, never in Bianco Avus.  Very distinctive after all the "Resale Red" Ferraris bouncing about.  Corvette on US101 in Mendocino County CA and the Ferrari on US101 in Marin County, CA

I've seen a truck, around here that has a big "Brazzers" across the top of the windshield. I couldn't believe it! Then I realized that most folks probably don't know what that is.

One of the blessings of living in SoCal.  I was on the 405 southbound from Calabasas and these two pulled in front of me.  I heard them before I saw them.  Incredible snarl for both engines together.  I had to roll the windows down and take in the symphony of 18 pounding cylinders.  The Porsche GT 3 (which is in front)looked nasty as heck and the Lambo SVT was just wicked!

Over the weekend, I took a tour of the covered bridges of Ashtabula County, Ohio (far northeastern corner of Ohio, on Lake Erie and the PA state line)... miles and miles of driving down backroads, some paved, some gravel and dirt with mud and potholes.  Visited 12 covered bridges over two days.  On one leg, I was behind this Porsche 911 Turbo cab (996 generation), and the driver was going slow dodging the mud puddles on several miles of gravel/dirt roads.     My Jeep faired well w/ the occasionally rough road conditions.  Got in a couple beaches last night also.

I have a new client and spent the past week at their location.. actually since I’m on Lap Two of Tour de Pharma, it’s an old employer of mine.. I actually have a pension coming from them!   Anyway, it’s a nice drive on backroads and through small towns here in PA.
