microwheel
Hi George, Great subject. I've owned my share of Chevy Vegas in my day. Cant wait to see where you go with this one. Always liked the looks of the Chevy Vegas and the Ford Mavricks.

W-409
This is interesting! I like GM H-Bodies a lot and this Vega is really rarely seen as a Scale Model. I can't wait how this turns out. What kit did you start with?
69H.O.Firebird
First year for sales of a vega was 1971. Production started June of 1970.

dragcarz
Are you modifying a Revell Funny Car body?
Dragfreak
This should be very cool, Vegas were in production 1971-1977 though. I'll be watching this, it will be interesting to see how you create the GT emblems, wheels, grille, etc. No matter what it is, I can take reference pictures of my '71 vega panel delivery that is bone stock except for the drivetrain and wheels, anything you need I can get. Of course because it's a panel it isn't a GT but GT's aren't too different. Edited July 24, 2014 by Dragfreak
