Not so old. But I really love this one.

AMT 1962 Buick Electra 225 Round 2 reissue.

Paint is Tamiya TS-14 Black from the spray can.

All lettering was foiled before painting, and then the paint was locally polished until the chrome letters would show trough. The side trim on this car is a real pain on the rear end to foil...

Big 'ol deuce-and-a-quarter looks good in black. Great work.

That single piece chassis is amazing. Proof again that clean, well detailed box stock builds and kits with low parts count can be every bit as impressive as one with aftermarket parts added. Beginners take note. This is great Tulio.

Thanks guys!!

I had posted this one when I had just finished her, but I'm in a "nostalig" phase

Yes, it is all box stock. The detail is just paint.

Wow, that is nice! Those photos are crisp too! Yes those old kits can look fantastic with a good clean build, that one sure does!

OK. We've known for a while now that you can and like to build great looking Fords. Then you start showing us you can build great looking Chevys too. But now, you build great looking Buicks too? I'm always impress with your work. It's just really nice to see that you do more than just Fords.

Another stunner from Tulio. How did you get the 'Buick' and 'Electra 225' so clean and shiny? I'd swear I was looking at a photo of the real car. Amazing!
