Drago
Hi people. Does anybody know what is this part? Any more pictures or reference about it? Already googled but unfortunately no good results It is located inside a sort of bay on upper side of the gear box. Thanks guys!
Cato
Hard to tell but it may be a shock reservoir for one side's coilover. It's may connect to the pullrod by a bellcrank. The kit's poor molding isn't helping you.
Ace-Garageguy
It appears to have a clevis on one end, as well as a bleed fitting on top. Because of those indications, and its location between the gearbox and engine, I'd tend to suspect it MAY be the clutch slave-cylinder. PS. In case you haven't seen it, here's a build thread on the Tamiya 1/24 kit. There's a reference book early in the thread that might give you some more pix. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/72670-tamiya-jaguar-xjr-9lm-124/ Edited July 26, 2014 by Ace-Garageguy

TWR
The part is the clutch actuation slave cylinder. It fits in an indentation in the center top of the bellhousing casting and is held in place by a 2 piece ally clamping block. The cylinder is AP racing short style that has been machined round (rather than cast round) at its waist to accurately fit in the clamp. You can see the black closing rubber at the end with the actuation shaft coming out. The shaft with thread at its end screws into a small round cross piece that fits into the clevis end of a rather large machined from billet clutch actuating arm that is inside the bellhousing and has only the end visable where it sticks out of a window in the bellhousing. Hope this helps If you need to know about any other parts on the XJR's just ask You might like our facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/groups/1432458440324391/?fref=tsBTW the pics look on close examination to be of an XJR6 / early XJR8 not XJR9LM The clue is the mounting blocks holding the eagle bar to the top of the transaxle which would make the transaxle a March 85 and not the custom cased TWR/March 88T. But the rest is the same. . Edited August 15, 2015 by TWR
