Alright, one more...for now ?

‘Cause I remember every sunset

I remember every word you said

We were never gonna say goodbye

Singing la-ta-ta-ta-ta

Oh no how could you! Now this song is stuck in my head again! And I don't even know the name of it or the rest of the lyrics to the song... I don't even like the song! It's the La Ta ta ta that I know the song by, otherwise I don't know the song at all.

I’m so sorry! Uhh, quick, think of a different song! ? It is a very easy song to get stuck in the head.

The song is Summer Paradise by Simple Plan.

Now an easy one for memorial day ..

My daddy served in the army
Where he lost his right eye but he flew a flag out in our yard
Until the day that he died
He wanted my mother, my brother, my sister and me
To grow up and live happy
In the land of the free

Let’s see if anyone can get this one.

Hint: it’s by a young singer-songwriter who was on a competition TV show.

Your love is faded
It's faded as your jeans
You don't love me anymore
But you won't leave
Keep trying to make you happy
But it gets harder and harder
I keep on giving my love
It's like you don't even want it
I can't keep it up anymore
I'm gonna walk out that door
It's like you don't even care anymore

How about these:

1.

I, I'm a one way motorway
I'm the one that drives away
Then follows you back home
I, I'm a street light shining
I'm a wild light blinding bright
Burning off alone

2.

Next thing you know Lord, I'm in the band
We come from East Texas, a river bottomland
Harder than a Bois d'Arc tree, too drunk to stand
With cowboy hats and old guitars and Copenhagen cans

I thought maybe so too, but I cheat-googled it, and, not.

I was wrong about my Kelly Clarkson guess, too. Wrong just about every way you can be wrong. Wrong person, wrong sex, wrong show, wrong network! :blink:

The first is Times Like These by The Foo Fighters. Not even the foggiest idea about the second though.

Here’s an offering

“Well when you're sitting there in your silk upholstered chair
Talkin' to some rich folk that you know
Well I hope you won't see me in my ragged company
Well, you know I could never be alone”

Not quite, but you’re on the right track. This band hasn’t been around as long as ZZ Top, but their musical genre is similar.

Hmm...not sure who sings it, but I think this song’s called “Wrong”. Oh wait, those aren’t lyrics... :D

Yeah, you were just a little off with that guess. You know who sings it and what the song is called?

Yep, you got it. The group that sings the second song was formed in the mid-2000s, and is a similar sub-genre as the Foo Fighters.

I do now:lol:

BTW, those lyrics were so common and generic I had to google three lines of them at a time to get the answer.

Tyler, here's one you might get....

"If I'm out hunting, come right on in, yea,

'Cause even when I'm gone, my doors are always open,

and If I'm asleep, make sure my blanket covers me, yea......."

Two words - whammy bar!

Away - Toadies

Don’t hear too much about them anymore. Even though they’re still active.
