Thought of another one I'd buy: '63-'65 Chevy II 2-door SEDAN (not hardtop) body. Most of the early funny Deuces were built on the sedan body.

Snake 45 . MCW offers a '65 Chevy II (300 ?) 2 dr sedan . I have one . Builds up  nice  . I am lacking a chassis from the AMT Kit to complete a stripper to fit in my Chevy I String .  Thanx ..

If I remember correctly, the MCW Chevy II 2D Sedan body is a 1963. That is on my "Must Have" list, as I have a 1:1 scale version (1962) in my garage. But, I need to get some money together to order bunch of other stuff at the same time from them...

This question seems to be asked at leas once every 6 months. NO one ever does what we suggest but here it goes again. Any full size car from the late 70's or early 80's would be nice. Like a Delta 88 Royale sedan, Buick Electra or Park Ave. or even a LeSabre. They were very popular automobiles and daily drivers that sold well. Even an 80's Town Car would be nice. I don't know if I speak alone or for others, but I for one have been Pony carred out. Enough with the Mustangs, Firebirds, Camaros etc,. not everyone's jaw drops insanely when yet another is released. Same goes for me with the Chevelle. Took Revell almost a decade to realize that the G-Body of the 80's Oldsmobile has a following. Have both and proudly made a Cutlass Supreme and Supreme Brougham out of each. Now if only a Regal or Regal Limited would come to market.!!!!

He offers both '63 and '65. The '63 2DS body is for the Trumpeter kit and you NEED that kit to build it. It doesn't have a trunk. It also doesn't have glass, a problem for me because my Trumpeter kit is a convertible and doesn't have rear glass. I'll figure something out.

He also has a '65 2DS body but the '65 2DS roof is different from the '62-'64.

He also has another '63 2DS body with altered wheelbase for the AMT AWB funny kit.

I keep seeing this one pop up, so I'll play:

I really tried to think this one out, as in: "what would I actually buy if it were available, and right?"...

I don't like to build with resin bodies for the most part. I do own a few, but I much prefer regular plastic. If something was ever available as a regular kit, I will seek the old kit out before I turn to resin.

So...I would buy the following, if offered, and if they were reasonably right:

Jensen Interceptor (never done in 1/24 or 1/25 to my knowledge)

1975-1977 Chrysler Cordoba (I have the Air Trax '79)

1969-1970 Dodge Polara (I know a '71 is out there, but I'm waiting for the '70 specifically. I might still try for a '71 at some point if the '70 is not forthcoming).

1976-1977 Plymouth Gran Fury (C Body, full size)

1981-83 Imperial (I have the NASCAR body, and I have an old John Heyer body, and I had the old TKM body, but I would still buy a really nice one).

1981-92 Dodge Pickup

1971-72 Dodge Coronet / Plymouth Satellite 4-doors / wagons (these could utilize the 4 Door 1978 Dodge Monaco as a base).

70's Dodge Aspen (this could be a conversion kit consisting largely of bumpers and taillights for existing Volare kits, or even a whole body to use with the recent reissue of the 1980 Volare kit).

My list has a little vw bias but here goes,

1. Bay window vw van , bus and pick ups 1968-79

2. type 3 vw in notchback, squareback and fastback bodies

3. mk1 + 2 ford escort wagons

4. vw sp2

5. vw mk golf/rabbit with USA spec (I kinda want one of the westmoreland ones with the ugly bumpers and square lights)

6. mk6 golf trans kit for the fujimi mk5

7. 3 door mk3 golf

8. mk4 golf wagon
