Couple of Birds

I'm curious. Why do you called them "Birds"?

Scott

Technically he's incorrect, Scott. Neither is a 'bird. Both are Dodge Charger Daytonas. The Plymouth Superbird is NOT the same car as the Daytona & shouldn't be referred to as a "'bird".

Thank you guys for clearing that up. That had been the first time I had ever heard of Daytonas being called "Birds". In fact I have never heard of Roadrunner Superbirds being called just "Birds". Daytonas were Daytonas. Superbirds, Superbirds. I'm of the old school were Birds referred to mainly Thunderbirds in the automotive vernacular.
