It’s been a while since I worked on this one. I’m planning to keep going and see this one through. It’s hard to believe I started this over 6 years ago!

Since my last update, I added the side cage bars and the nerf bars. The nerfs will get pulled in later as it goes together, so I can line them up with the tires.

I have a permanent place to work now, which I've never had before, so I am hoping it leads to a lot more progress!

It sure has! ? I know a thing or two about this affliction. I had forgotten all about this one, Art. What beautiful work you've done with the chassis.

That has made a huge difference, for me. I have likely put more completed projects in the display case in the last four years, than over any other four-year span. There is one other major factor, but, having a shop that's set up and well-outfitted has led  to much more progress, for me. I've also found it to be a comforting place to be. Being able to shrug off the outside world for a while leads to more creativity, it seems. Excellent work, sir. Carry on!

Art, I’m not new to this forum, but I’ve been pretty dormant for several years and I’m just now catching up with your build.  Your work is awesome, especially for your first effort with brass.  Your soldering skills are impressive indeed.  I too am a brass scratch builder.  If you get a chance, I would like to invite you to check out a new thread that I just posted in the forum  yesterday titled “Hot Rod Lincoln”.  Many people think brass work is intimidating but, once they try it, they become hooked.  I look forward to following your progress through to completion of this project.  I have an advantage in that I came into this movie six years late, and hopefully I won’t have to wait long to see how it comes out.

Dan, thanks for the comments. I can completely agree with you on having a dedicated space, and I'm glad to see you being productive. I thoroughly enjoyed your last build.

Thanks, Tim! I will definitely check out your thread.
