martinfan5
Decided I wanted to start on this one, at first, I was going to paint it Lambo Ithca Green , but I came across Blu Nethuns and after cleaning up the drool, decided that was the color I wanted to use, so off sent a email to Jameston and he had to disappoint me and tell me that he could not find the color codes, as Lamborghini keeps a lot of them a secret(well , more or less), so we did some looking at different shades of blue, two shades of blue from the VAG group that come close are VW Deep Blue, and Audi Sepang Blue, thinking I will use one of them. Here is a look at all three of them And a look at the box I found the paint code for Lambo Monterey Blu which was the old name for it, so I sent Jameston the info and waiting to hear back from him. microwheel
Looks like its going to be a great kit to build. Know wonder your drooling over it. We dont get access to very many import kits up in in my neck of the woods. To get to a hobby shop anywhere near me that would have any of them, is almost a 5 hour drive. I envy you lol. If you can access the internet ( I'm assuming here ?) then you can get this kit & just about any other kit you want.... It's called eBay or there are hundreds of on-line retailers to get kits from ?? Order these kits on eBay. I highly recommend thepolarbearstable2012. In the last couple months I have ordered all of the Aoshima Lamborghini and a few Hesegawa and Fujimi Ferrari kits. In each case the price and shipping very reasonable compared to others and I recieved them in a couple days. Twice I ordered on Friday and had the kits on Tuesday, thats Japan to Canada. Mike Chernecki
I have yet to build my kit. How sturdy is the body after removing all the bracing? Will there be a chance of breakage during sanding and painting?

martinfan5
I have yet to build my kit. How sturdy is the body after removing all the bracing? Will there be a chance of breakage during sanding and painting?Oh, it is not sturdy at all without the bracing, after removing the bracing, you are not going to want to handle the body more than need be, I am working on something that I can attach to the underside of the body that will make more stable and easier to paint it. Thought so given the full roll cage of bracing surrounding the body. Thanks for the info.
