Outlaw_Pitbull_0411 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) Revell foose 68 firebird small tire car. Just a quick build it'll be twin turbo full cage....I shaved all the emblems and mold lines, cut the holes out for the ram air scoop and it's been lowered. Thanks for looking Edited February 5, 2017 by Outlaw_Pitbull_0411

Outlaw_Pitbull_0411 Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 Thanks John I appreciate it, Fred the wheels are from the chi-town hustler funny car kit...the front tires are from my parts bin, and the back tires are from a old 1/24 scale racing champions 69 camaro from the hotrod magazine collection... I hope that helps a little bit. thanks for the comments guys.
tubbs Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 looks good, good choice of subject matter also. don't see too many firebirds.
Outlaw_Pitbull_0411 Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 Thanks Al... First Gen Firebirds Are 1 of my favorite cars
Outlaw_Pitbull_0411 Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) Fred this is what the rear tires came off of. I sanded the sidewalls to round them out for a more realistic look. Edited November 3, 2014 by Outlaw_Pitbull_0411
freakshow12 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Thanks! I have been looking at different die cast things to steal parts from. I may have to commit. Trouble for me is that by the time I figure out the cost I'm pretty much at the point I can get resin tires and some micro nitro wheels. Provided I don't need them next day type of thing lol
Outlaw_Pitbull_0411 Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 Lol Yea this stuff definitely isn't cheap

Outlaw_Pitbull_0411 Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Need to figure out what to do with the taillights, the left one needed some fixing but sanded too much...so thinking about jus cutting the line out making it look sorta like a 67-68 camaro, by using a clear sheet of plastic red sharpie and window film to tint them but idk ....
