I thought it come out with a Peterbilt?

There was a version from Revell AG that it was with a Pete 359 (the base kit for the Can Do wrecker) and was the "Prestige" version. I have also seen another combo version in Testors packaging that had two early 80s Camaros on the box art and may have been included in the kit, but I can't remember the power unit for that combo set.

I work in dispatch for a car hauling company, the trailer looks like it was modeled after Catrell Quick loaders and Boydstans. This style is still used by companies we broker to, mostly 7 car set ups. I definitely want a couple of these!! Only change I'd probably make is removing the chains and making something to resemble the straps used on the tires.

Not sure what's going on, but Megahobby has them set up for preorder, but Tower Hobbies has them discontinued....Oh well...I guess Megahobby wins out, this time....

Moebius can remedy the chrome rims problem. Glad I know about that now. I gotta order more rims and tires.

Amen, Brother....

I have the prestige Car Transport edition (Pete & trailer, no cars) the copyright says '82, but I bought new in promotion at a local big box store in '93, for the amount of 1299 Belgian Frank ($35) and it includes chrome wheels for the trailer.

Will take pics and post later....

Just picked one up a hobbytown today. A little disappointed that the wheels aren't chrome plated but the tires have nice sidewall markings.

Yeah, as Luc said about his Prestige set, the previous issue of just the trailer released in the mid 2000s had the wheels chromed also.

An idea since the wheels aren't chromed in the latest issue, there are ten hole steel wheels that look just like the Alcoa aluminum that could be painted to match or contrast the trailer for a slightly custom look.

I stand corrected on the 'Never having Chrome parts' line

But, My Original issue Trailer Only did Not have any Chrome parts at all.

I am Curious though as to which other parts besides the rims were

chromed in the "Prestiege Carriers" Cab & Trailer issue.

I'm not 100% sure Dan, but I think it may have had tools that went in the storage area in the belly that were chromed too. I don't have mine here right now to check, it is in storage right now.

IF I remember, I can pull the box out for Mine later when I get ready to crash out

for the day It is in my room

Trailer is out here, just blocked!!!

Wish I had a Better camera, the one I use does NOT like indoor use!

Plus, it is a FIRST gen digital only 1.3 MP!!
