This is the AMT King Cobra kit. I based this build not on any particular car, but just on an idea. I knew a few guys back in the 80s that loved to cruise. They (alright, me too) would run slicks when able to, and they would do what they could to hop things up, but they kept the cars street legal. That's how I decided to build this kit.

I have a friend here in Denver that has a beautiful 65 Cobra. Real car! It has a 427 in it now. It has a 476 blower on it, sticks out of the hood way up high! You just tap the go fast pedal on it and your sideways in an instant! The thing is amazing on a ggod track with huge mickey thompsons!
