Daddyfink
You attention to detail is just too cool! Thanks for proving that kit accuracy is up to the builder and not the kit maker!

It didn't dawn on me it was left hand drive before, I thought this was an English car? It was sold as LHD too for our friends in continental Europe, ie outside Britain and Ireland and the few other RHD countries such as Australia and New Zealand for example. It didn't dawn on me it was left hand drive before, I thought this was an English car? Thanks Jason. The Escort was built in several different countries England, Germany, Ireland, Australia which are not all right hand drive markets. The majority of the Works cars where left hand drive with the exception of cars built for Roger Clark who preferred right hand drive. Speedfreak
JC, what is that white (?) material under the lap portion of the harness belts?
afx
JC, what is that white (?) material under the lap portion of the harness belts? Gene, the lap belts usually include a piece of leather or fabric installed under the main latch to make the belts or comfortable. I used the white fabric in this instance to simulate this. afx
I use polishing pads, Shay. Once I get everything smooth I use just a bit of polish compound. Edited June 1, 2015 by afx
