Psychographic
Does anyone on the forum have access to a Corvair van? If so, would you be willing to take some measurements for me? Thanks in advance.

Jim B
They made a Corvair van? The things you learn on this Forum never cease to amaze me.
Longbox55
Yup. '61 to '65. They phased it out mid '65, partly due to low sales, and partly due to the fact that GM had released a conventional style van from both Chevrolet and GMC that was partially based on the Chevy 2/Nova. Art Anderson
They made a Corvair van? The things you learn on this Forum never cease to amaze me. Yes, in both commercial van form (Corvan) and as a passenger van (Greenbriar).
Longbox55
There was also a truck variant, similar to the Dodge A100 and Econoline pickup. Edited November 25, 2014 by Longbox55
91blaze
If you don't get what you need just PM me and I can ask on the Corvair forum. Too bad they never made models of the truck, van, or station wagon.

Too bad they never made models of the truck, van, or station wagon. Thank you. I'll work up a pic showing what I need measured and PM it to you later today. This is why I need measurements. This resin body is a disaster, but I'm hoping to make it into something decent.
Jim B
Yes, in both commercial van form (Corvan) and as a passenger van (Greenbriar). Now that I've seen it, it does look familiar.
Chuck Most
Always wondered how likely the Rampside would be to fold in half like a futon when the unibody started getting rusty... 91blaze
Just found that Premier made a Rampside kit but it's very rare. I might have to look into the resin ones David, maybe I can turn a van into a truck. Edited November 25, 2014 by 91blaze
